One of the critical elements in this system is the dew point, which is the temperature at which moisture in the air begins to condense. If moisture condenses within your walls, it can lead to mold, decay, and poor air quality. That’s why managing moisture through effective vapor barriers is so important.


R-values (thermal resistance) ensure that your home is well-insulated, helping to reduce energy consumption and improve comfort. While R-values are essential, equally important is the air barrier and vapor barrier system.
